CODE OF ETHICS – PLAN BROKER PARTNER


The good reputation of Myshare, its Charity Partners, and the reliance of the public and the business community on that reputation, imposes on PLAN Broker Partners an obligation to maintain high standards of technical competence, fair dealing and integrity.

This Code of Ethics reflects the commitment of PLAN Broker Partners to meet a high standard of professional conduct.

A PLAN Broker Partner shall:

• Promote the maintenance of the high public standing of the Myshare Home Loan Program.

• Ensure every Myshare Home Loan arranged by the PLAN Broker Partner will be submitted as part of the Myshare Home Loan Program.

• Observe high standards of honesty and integrity in conducting their business and in the provision of services.

• Disclose to the client any limitation on their ability to provide objective advice.

• Provide competent services and maintain the necessary knowledge and skill to continue to do so in those areas in which the PLAN Broker Partner is engaged.

• Provide services in a manner that is fair and reasonable.

• Act with due skill, care and diligence in the provision of services.

• Offer advice only in those areas in which the PLAN Broker Partner is competent and authorized to act.

• Effect and maintain professional indemnity insurance of a type and level of cover appropriate to its business activities.

• Maintain policies and procedures for the effective control and conduct of its business.

• Comply with all relevant legislation and applicable industry rules of conduct.

• Advise Myshare within two business days any material change to the statements made in its application and attachments for accreditation as a PLAN Broker Partner.


In determining whether a PLAN Broker Partner has complied with this Code, any conduct by its directors, representatives, employees or agents which relates to the conduct of the PLAN Broker Partner’s business shall be treated as the conduct of the PLAN Broker Partner.
